For a little while now, Clairo has personified the indie-pop world with her authentic image and raw sound, both of which have helped her amass a valuable cult following. And, though we've been more fond of her collaborations than her solo work, she's really impressing us with "Bags", a laid-back new single built around morose songwriting and subtly brilliant production from past Vampire Weekend member Rostam, Nick Brenton, and Clairo, herself. It's a terrific work, and we hope more lie ahead.
