I'm going to guess that it's been a short time since you've come across a Ciara remix. Her viral "Body Party" single got the chop and screw and mix and master from countless producers around the globe, and the influx of reinterpretations, which still trickle in today, nearly backfired into worldwide apathy for the hit original. It was and continues to be an example in overexposed art and indulgence in it, though it's hard to bar creatives from partaking in creations, I know. When I saw the songstress' name appear in one of my music feeds earlier today, I rolled my eyes, honestly, but then I saw that it belonged to another single of hers, and I instantly took interest, perhaps just out of relief for seeing something new. I'd never ever heard of her "Overdose" song until today (I'm don't pretend to be a fan of hers), but Belgian producer Dave Luxe's fixings to the track made me check it out, if only because of how brilliantly he glorified it with his dexterous sonic touches. I found that I was a bit underwhelmed with the original effort, though that mattered little, having had the new and improved version now to immerse myself within. It's actually really remarkable to hear what enhancements the latter individual managed to make; there's allure where there used to be lethargy, and energy existing in absolutely enthusiastic abundance on the fresh effort. I've been replaying the spry synths and percussion most of the morning, enjoying the fact that artistic supplementation is alive and well, thanks in part to the infectious work of the producer.
