Russia isn't a foreign featured region on this by any means, as we've seen a handful of producers emerge over the past couple years. Today, we've relatively unknown beatmaker CHVRN to highlight, though, who's provided an immaculate bass-backed instrumental in "awakening" for us to share. The Saint Petersburg resident has been firing out trap-inclined beats and tracks for over a year now, and while most do follow a dusky sonic path, the intricacy and inclusions within make his work very listenable. "Awakening" kicks off with a pretty inky setting, itself, and, as it evolves, heavy drum and hat patterns enter and engender an ilk of trap that's sunless, sonically, but unequivocally engaging as well.
