There's not much information on the DIE HIGH RECORDS producer, Chu., but that's alright, because the dynamic soundscape that he has to offer on "Sunday Morning" is worth more than our curiosity about the artist's personal identity. The absorbing sound that is "Sunday Morning" starts off with a patterned, swelling synth, and a combination of booming bass and chopped vocals ensue. Throughout the track, Chu. dips synth in and out of audible prominence, and this allows for the aforementioned vocal clips to present themselves in earnest fashion, right alongside percussion that becomes more pronounced as the song progresses. "Sunday Morning" is intended to "warm up" the anticipation for Chu.'s Holidae Holidae project coming out soon, and if the effort is any indication of what is to follow on the greater body of work, we've all kinds of reason to be excited for it.
