Chrome Sparks has been delivering dreamy electronic for years, and we've been alongside the outpourings since his self-titled work dropped two years ago. There have been few, if any, missteps in his enrapturing sonic ascent, and we've been treated to several singles and another EP since the first one came to our ears. Amazingly, there's no signs of the Ann Arbor-native and present Brooklynite stopping any time soon, either, as he's today released the first single and title-track from his upcoming EP, Goddess. The effort, as otherworldly as any of his former ones (which is reason enough to celebrate, honestly), tells also of a more matured direction that Jeremy Malvin is taking his sound, too. Experimentalism still reigns as a supreme trait embedded in his work, but with hyper-melodic touches and instrumentations galore, there's a traceably chimeric attitude to be identified as well. It all makes for a tantalizing listen, at the very least, but one able to appease electronic fans at any rate. Goddess will be released through Future Classic on April 22nd.
