When we last heard Christine and the Queens through cut "No Harm Is Done" featuring Tunji Ige, we were treated to one of their few fully English songs. Hailing from France, the pop outfit fronted by Héloïse Letissier has sang ordinarily in their native French language, but, even with the barrier, they've been able to garner international acclaim and a massive following to boot. Now, on their latest track, "Paradis Perdus", the act's blended their impeccable sound with an unlikely cover of "Heartless" by Kanye West. On the track, Letissier aches over pulsing electro-pop beats, intertwining her own lyrics in French with that of West's 2008 hit. Kanye West was one of the artists who brought innovative electronic music to popularity, and Christine and the Queens expand on that innovation here.
