Louisville folktronica producer, Christian Johns has recently shared this track on Soundcloud exhibiting an exciting deviation from his previous works. "I Was Young" is a smoothly sampled track filled out with a sedated trap beat, a gorgeously wide square-synth melody and a plaintive vocal loop, that I know I've heard before, but can't quite pin down where.. All in all, very nostalgic and inspiring, and definitely makes me want to hear what this prolific hometown artist comes up with next.
