Rapper-producer Choppy Chan isn't known to many, but his recent work is worth more recognition, and, today, we're highlighting two tracks from his last EP, MUSIC FOR YOUR DAUGHTER. The NYC artist combines chilled beats and downcast R&B on "Pull Up Pon Mi" that should intrigue contemporary hip-hop fans, and, on our other favorite, "So Good", we hear a sparkling piece that's indicative of rap's overall direction today (weaving verses, singable hooks, an addictive nature).
