Though the number of them has increased exponentially in recent years, it's still relatively uncommon to come across a new, female producer. And while we understand that gender matters little in terms of being able to craft creative musical compositions, it's still refreshing for us to see the usually one-sided practice expand into a medium enjoyed, utilized, and beautified by both sexes. Polish producer Chloe Martini's efforts on "Temptation" typify the moves made by females within the realm of sonic artistry, and I'll openly admit my infatuation with the graceful steps she takes with her sound. They're light, lofty, and entirely alluring, and they illuminate on "Temptation" to reveal an attractively mellow mood and romantic vibe. With a melodic, methodic, and ethereal synth, Chloe starts the track, following up with crunchy claps and inconspicuous bass to add substance to the otherwise airy production. About one minute through, she slides in soulful vocals that supplement, rather than supplant, the atmosphere she's made and maintained up to the point, and the addition provides the peaceful sound with an equally passionate human element that lasts the entirety of the pretty instrumental. "Tempation" is the first single from Martini's upcoming EP entitled Reborn which will be "dropping soon" through the independent SF music label, Mellow Orange.
