Childish Gambino has been ripping up the internets and blogs for the past year with his submergence into the music scene with a product that has already reached a huge audience. Camp is his first official album and the first body of work that we can really take a look at to get a firm grasp on what Gambino can bring to the table on a full length album. His rapping can be at times very abrasive, raspy or calm. Depending on your preference with vocals you may find the raspy-abrasive rapping a bit too much. Gambino is at his best when he is singing with his 'tame' rapping. Songs like Heartbeat, Kids (Keep Up) & All The Shine are great examples as to why Gambino should continue to make music.
