If you are an indie-alternative fan, you ought to pay close attention here, because Chez Ali could soon become your new favorite artist. Originally named Elias Mahfoud, the Stockholm native has provided us with one of the best debuts of the year in "Blue Cheese". The song is a spinning effort carried along by a drifty guitar lick and effortless vocals, and, though this is a slowly growing piece, the entire thing comes together beautifully. Definitely take a listen, and get excited to hear more from Chez Ali on his forthcoming debut EP that's being released through Rama Lama Records. We think it will be terrific.
