Nick Murphy returned to the Chet Faker name for Hotel Surrender, and "Peace of Mind" is the album's thesis in song form. Heavy bass, filtered vocals, and a production approach that sounds like 2021 filtering 1989 through a very particular set of memories. He sounds more settled than he did under his own name, which is the point.
