"Go Round" is Charlie Puth's proclaimed "Sunday evening hookup song", and frankly, he's spot-on with the assessment. The kind of vocal range he has in his possession could swoon any individual on the brink of love, and his frequent falsetto throughout the track inspires all sorts of awe. There's nothing obviously missing from the effort, from his own added instrumentations, to the myriad electronic nuances filling in what vocal gaps intentionally appear, and an impressive and intimately rounded-out sound come about as a result. This is our first time hearing Puth's pitch-perfect inflections and rock-solid sonic engineering, but there's no chance it'll be our last, not with this kind of aural enamoring.
