For us, Charli XCX has been hit or miss. There's no denying her talent, impressive vocals, and attractive persona, but musically, we've had to take her material on a song-to-song basis. We don't love every song she releases, but there's always a track or two of hers we come across that attracts us, and aside from her previously released "Break The Rules" that we posted, we're loving "Need Ur Luv"—another effort from her forthcoming sophomore album, SUCKER, which you can stream via iTunes Radio. Compared to some of the other tracks from SUCKER, "Need Ur Luv" is less in-your-face and more accessible, and this is exactly why we're loving it. Its sing-along-worthy chorus, rambunctious production, backup singer chants, and verse parts where it's just her vocals backed by the percussion and organ are elements we enjoy, and we think if "Need Ur Luv" was chosen for the next single from the album, it would do fantastically well.
