It's tough to keep up with the internet these days. With everything going a million times a minute, it's easy to just pass on these buzz-rappers and assume they are just being overly-hyped. However with Chance The Rapper, this buzz is not the case whatsoever because his debut mixtape Acid Rap definitely proves otherwise. For someone who is always skeptical, this mixtape is a pleasant surprise. His off-kilter rhyming style and rhyme schemes set Chance immediately apart from anyone else in rap music right now. He's a little bit serious with a dash of tongue + cheek that gets topped off with a confident charisma. The only thing that might put people off a bit is the way his vocals sound sometimes (a bit whiny), but with that being said Chance The Rapper is the next big thing. Our favorites are below.
