Cautious Clay linking with guitarist Julian Lage was always going to produce something worth slowing down for. "Unfinished House" leans heavily into jazz-adjacent territory, Lage's playing fluid and conversational against Cautious Clay's layered production instincts. It doesn't resolve neatly, and that's the point.
