As a music blogger and lover of all things good music, there's something inherently exciting about finding a brand new artist that is still completely all-in with their own sound, unmarred and unchanged by the whims of their fans or their label or any outside influences. Coming from nowhere but obviously destined to be heard everywhere is San Fransisco duo CATHEDRALS with their debut single "Unbound," an absolutely enthralling journey into their talent that will leave your eardrums salivating for more. The playoff between the vocals, the simplistic acoustic chords and the back beat are incredible, filled with an autumn melancholy and a spring's hope. Definitely a stellar debut. CATHEDRALS' internet presence is still in its infancy so there's not much info to pass along, but it's only a matter of time before these guys start to spread like wildfire.
