Cash+David appeared on the music scene about nine months ago with their debut single, "Funn", and ever since then, the London-based duo has been gaining plenty of hype. They followed up their debut with another impressive offering in "Pulse", and the track really established the act's highly distinctive brand of electro-pop. Inspired by two of the greats, Jonny Cash and David Bowie, Cash+David is now back with a brand-new, mellower single in "Bones". A deep, alluring soundscape forms the track's foundation and establishes a cool, serene listening environment. Tim Ross (production) then throws in some fresh, bongo-coated percussion and glowing synths to build on the mood, and Liz Lawrence (vocals) showcases her beautiful croon atop the ideal instrumental. With the track, the two keep their seamless streak rolling, and they also display the fact that they can achieve a slower, more intimate song with complete prowess. "Bones" is set for official release December 8th, but if you want to catch them live prior to the date, check out their free show at KANADA Presents at Birthdays Dalston on November 18th.
