UK-based singer-songwriter Carmody has consistently poured out exceptional material, whether that be through her several Tom Misch collaborations we've seen or through her own folk-laced R&B that's always appealing as well. Today, Carmody has a brand-new original entitled "Before You Knew Me", and it's a smooth, downtempo ballad that focuses on relationships past their infatuation stage. Carmody, herself, describes it as “the moment in a relationship when the 'loved-up bubble’ starts to pop”. The stirring single here is the second from a five-track EP of hers, and we're hoping we find out more about that from her soon.
