When Capital Cities blazed onto the scene back in 2011 with their self-titled debut EP, you knew that these guys were destined to reach the ears of the masses. Apparently Capitol Records also foresaw the same vision as the major label picked them up shortly after the release of their debut EP. Besides their cover song of Sinéad O’Connor’s “Nothing Compares To You” & "Kangaroo Court" (both dropped in the middle of 2012), Capital Cities went pretty quiet as far as releasing new singles goes. We assumed this was because the band was touring and recording their full-length debut, In A Tidal Wave Of Mystery, which just so happens to be out today!
