Vocal-led efforts have been rather prevalent on the site for the past week or so, and today, we've come across another from electronic duo Cam & Hands who more than deserve a shout for their best track to date, "Good Ass". The Berlin-residing two-piece is virtually unknown at this point, but their style of production is one that'll certainly prick up the ears of electronic enthusiasts while still proving to be welcoming to the most novice listeners of the genre. The humorous title of the track itself will prompt more than few peeks, but what's in store might be contrasting to what one imagines, as the two work in tandem and stack layers upon layers of forward-thinking sounds. While the piece is rather intricate as a whole, the mixing of pitched samples, chords, and breakbeat patters are so flawless that there isn't the slightest notion of it being overwhelming at all. What comes about, rather, is quite an ear-perking, downtempo experience that we think you'll like.
