C-Money of Slightly Stoopid has finally released his long awaited solo album that features the likes of Kyle from Slightly Stoopid, G-Love, Elliot Martin of John Brown's Body, Kevin Kinsella of 10 Ft Ganja Plant, Angelo Moore and Dre Gipson of Fishbone. C-Money has been a journey man in the reggae scene for years originally starting out with JBB and working with 10ft Ganja Plant. To now playing the trumpet for Slightly Stoopid. Every time I see this guy live he looks like he is having a blast on stage. Family Business is a fun record with great vocal performances complimented by melodic horns and savvy bass lines that you would expect from a music lover like C-Money. The horns on Sly are brilliant. The same can be said with B37H with its beautiful pads, synths, bass and horns. The musical arrangement of Family Business is thick and plentiful that will keep listeners like us happy.
