"Rataskank" may be one of the weirder producer names we've ever heard, but that's about the extent of the material we're going to question coming from the artist. As this newly released remix of "Release / Let Go" by Oslo indie-pop act BYEGONE shows, this fellow Oslo artist has plenty of unquestionable traits to share. We're tempted to even compare him to the great Cashmere Cat, and not because of them having similar sounds or countries of birth, but because of just how unique Rataskank's production techniques are. When Cashmere first came out, he was in a league of his own, and with this remix here, Rataskank has about created his own as well. Rataskank's SoundCloud currently holds only one other remix of his, no cover photo, and no scent of this particular track, so it's clear that he's just starting out, but what is clear is that once people hear him, his buzz is going to grow fast.
