Australian beatmaker Tenru is one of our more cherished HD discoveries of all time, and while we're used to predominantly instrumental-based work from the talent, we've stumbled upon a glistening, bootlegged version of "The Way She Moves" today, courtesy of Los Angeles vocalist BR/\VE. The Californian isn't all that foreign to the particular sound we hear here, having collaborated with a handful of chillwave producers over the past few months, and she certainly demonstrates her aptitude to work well with the style on the piece. There's absolutely no meddling with the production side of the track here, and sufficient room is allowed for BR/\VE to take over on the vocal front as she delivers rueful lyrics alongside a consistent, stirring tone. Her voice emerges superbly over the subtle instrumental to give a completely pristine makeup of it, and, though, the aura of the track was good before, it's potentially even more evocative now.
