Broderick Batts, a Tampa Bay-raised and now-Los Angeles-based rap and R&B artist, is a bright, young, and promising star , and if you've yet to familiarize yourself with his music, his latest track, "Pink Empty Promises", is about to make you an instant fan of his work. "Pink Empty Promises" is Broderick's first original track in two months, and for us, it's easily his best work to date. Broderick is like a chameleon with his cadence and flow here, and he'll go from delicately sung bars, to a mid-tempo, sing-meets-rap-like flow, and then cap it off with slightly more aggressive tone.
