Some songs really get to you the first time you listen to them. They make you have them on repeat, and they don't let you consider turning them off. Maryland-based singer-songwriter Brent Faiyaz has such an impression with his Pablo Dylan and James Harte-produced latest track, "Invite Me", and we're quite confident you'll all love it as much as us. What's plainly apparent on the track here is that the guy has got soul. His voice moves brilliantly atop complementary electric guitar licks and subtle, skittering percussion and production, and what rock leanings of the song appear as well give tinges of the past, though, according to Faiyaz, himself, the song arose from the way artists present themselves now. "Invite Me" is part of Faiyaz's upcoming debut project, Side A: AM Paradox, that's set for release in September this year, and it's almost certainly going to make some waves if Brent can keep up his authentic, smooth sound.
