Embracing the hip-hop-influenced pop sound overtaking the airwaves (and adding his own flair to it), Brendan Bennett shows out for his debut LP, Pop Tracks & Love Songs. An ode to all of the love songs he never wrote, the seven-track tape plays as a young man experiencing the ups and downs of life that come with growing older and being able to reflect on all. With a limited number of features, Bennett carries most of the tracks on his own, giving the project a feeling of completeness that is so refreshing to hear.
