When artists are first coming up, it's so important to have a unique sound. It separates you from the pack, and it alleviates any easy comparisons to acts that are already established. For an artist like Brandyn Burnette who's already released a lot of soul-pop-led material already, we've yet to hear something from him (other than the fact he's a great vocal) that was going to make him standout. However, with his latest track (ironically, it was recorded in a car and produced in a coffee shop), "1000 Degrees Of Separation", the St. Louis artist sounds like he's found his voice with a track that has just that extra bit of unique, experimental-tinge to it that's going to have you hoping for more.
