There hasn't been enough new music from Branchez this past year, but today he's giving us some in the form of new EP 222. There are just four new tracks on it, but that's more than enough to whet our appetite for new music from him, and, when you listen, we think you'll agree. All the featured artists on the body of work (Janine and the Mixtape, Santell, and Laced Linen) are R&B artists, so, sonically, it's rooted in such sounds, but, as we all know, Branchez is never one to be stuck in a box. With each track here, he's added his glitchy, spiced-up electronic sound, and that makes the project—his first-ever EP, may we say—absolutely great.
