Nearly a year ago, we posted an EP from a band called Strange Babes, and it was quite a novel but enticing body of work. Today, one of the standout members from the band, Sam (his moniker is "BOYBOY"), is releasing his first single, "BOY", and it, too, has got us quite intrigued. The song is surely an interesting one, and, as a combination of psychedelic and indie sounds, it's quite hard to pinpoint exactly what genre it falls to. Regardless, we're impressed by it, and we're hoping to hear more like it in his solo career.
