Musical inspiration can come from the humblest of beginnings, and for Sydney group BOO SEEKA, it came by way of a vintage synth that was bought at a yard sale for $50. The duo used the fortunate discovery to initiate their musical expression and began experimenting with their sound, layering electronic textures with hip-hop and R&B inspired beats that eventually cascaded into what is now their stunning debut single, “Kingdom Leader”. Imbued with soulful character, the piece is an engaging confluence of sultry vocal hooks, pulsing synths and percussive beats that stimulates more and more with each listen.
