For BOO SEEKA, experimentation has been paramount to their sonic notoriety. The duo surfaced a few months back with “Kingdom Leader”, an eclectic debut packed to the brim with genre-hopping rhythms, and here, we have their newest emulation of experimental success, “Deception Bay”, that tacks on to the interest that they’ve already accrued. By weaving soulful vocals with a brow-raising concoction of grunge-synths and hip-hop percussion, BOO has covered new ground yet again. Their recent European tours and upcoming strand of shows in Australia with SAFIA are sure to have factored in to some of the inspiration of their sound, but, these two are simply a creative force that never ceases to be in action. Surely watch out for their next sonic steps ahead.
