Certain songs just seem to scream for the remix treatment, and it usually doesn't take long before we're inundated with second-rate remixes that don't really add much to what's already been spun around a few times over. Bondax's track "Giving It All" is one such track that has attracted remix after remix (we already posted French Kiwi Juice's take late last week) and now Hot Chip's own Joe Goddard has entered his name into the mix - with outstanding results. Putting your own signature on an already remixed-to-death track can't be easy. In a case like this bringing something fresh and unique right off the bat is going to be key, and Goddard delivers. The track opens with a ringing, bell-like tinkle over a thumping base line that builds and builds until the vocals appear to explode honeyed goodness all over your headphones. This is by far my favourite "Giving It All" remix. It's just the perfect mix of chilled out head-nodding, breaking drums snares and dance vibes. Please, please do not sleep on this, even if you've already heard a few of the other remixes. Hell, ESPECIALLY if you've already heard a few of the others. Stream below.
