Portland's Blouse are a band that's hard to pin down - on the one hand they have the simple, melodic pop aspect to their sound, but their sound is far too off-kilter and interesting to simply peg them as a pop band. Alternative and Indie tags help round out the description, but they're really so much more. A bit dreamy, a bit sparse and angular, but all talent. Their latest single "A Feeling Like This," from their upcoming LP Imperium, is a great intro to their sound if you're not familiar - and if you are then I'm sure you're already on top of everything Blouse related.
