Calling an artist's track their best work to date is always a tricky endeavor when it comes to different tastes, but with "Love", the new P*nut and Gil Lewis-produced single from singer-songwriter Blooms, it's hard to argue against this being her best release thus far. "Love" is hushed and backed by sentimental-sounding production, and despite that sounding like something you might fall asleep to, Blooms manages to steal the show with her soft-spoken vocals, giving the track an overall elevated feeling. So, don't worry, there won't be any dozing off here, but rather, an experience of pure and unadulterated dream-pop bliss. One can never go wrong with that.
