It's been interesting watching Blooms develop over the past few months. Born Louise Cunnane, the Irish-raised, London-dwelling artist first caught our attention when we had no real clue who she was. Her beguiling debut, "Skin", was uploaded to the Dusk Dais Dawn SoundCloud with not so much as an image of the raven-haired songstress, and yet the track managed to turn some heads online. Over time, Blooms has stepped out of the shadows, though, putting forward quite a stellar debut EP in IF, which, with Sacred Animals on production, stands out as wonderful reference point for glitchy, sultry R&B. It's been a few months since Blooms has uploaded a new track, but "Guilty" proves to be worth the wait. On production is Kobina, who creates a wonderfully warped soundscape for Blooms to decorate with pensive, almost sorrowful vocals. The track was set to feature on the IF EP, but is instead being offered as a free download in support of an upcoming debut headline show. Hear it below.
