Watching the rise of Blooms has been an interesting process. The new music environment means that new artists pop up on a daily basis, and while some stick around, the majority don't. From a faceless SoundCloud project on her first track, "Skin", we have seen Blooms develop into an exciting new artist with a very clear idea of what she wants to do. Her debut EP, If, set her up strongly from 2015, and now "Fall" here serves as the first taste of her second EP. Co-produced by Kobina and live band member Gil Lewis, "Fall" a is a different affair than tracks "If' I" and "Lust". Replaced are the doomful, almost aquatic glitchy-ness, and in are light chords and lighter vocals to boot. The track carries deep subject matter, and it showcases Blooms in a finely new light for 2015.
