In our last write-up about Fabich & Ferdinand Weber's collaboration with Dinnerdate, "Souls Together", we mentioned how excited we are to see who emerges with the biggest songs of the summer. One of the most formidable candidates to steal the show (other than the aforementioned individuals themselves) in the upcoming months is KAASI, the British producer who has established himself as one of our favorite upcoming artists by consistently releasing quality material, and today, he continues his superior streak with a captivating new remix of Blonde's "Foolish". If the song looks familiar, it might be because we posted Dansson's upbeat remix of "Foolish", but where he elected to implement a heavy beat to transform the original into a banger, KAASI decided to take his trademark smooth sound and apply it here. Using his arsenal of wavy synths, vocal chops, crisp percussion, and warm piano keys, KAASI delivers another jam that stays along the lines of his previous ones, all of which radiate his beloved, unparalleled style. If you haven't given the guy a good listen yet, be sure to check out his work sooner than later, because he's definitely in the running to have one of the biggest sounds this upcoming season.
