We've featured plenty of bands on HD from faraway places around the world, but none quite like, blΔnc, who find themselves in the middle of the Indian Ocean on the remote Cocos (Keeling) Islands. Now we get that geography doesn't have much to do with the music at the end of the day, but just simply looking on a map and imagining where this is coming from gives it such a cool factor that can't be ignored. It makes you wonder if bands will just start lying and say they're from some far off remote island just to get people talking. I mean, we could be getting trolled here, who knows, the only thing that matters here is the music, though, so we're cool either way. One would assume that blΔnc's music would be sun-soaked, considering their placement below the equator, but that is not the case. Their music is electronic-led and leans more towards the realms of the eerie and mysterious. With no hints of sunrays infecting their music, it seems like this duo choose to do away with what's expected and take their sound into a realm that does not get influenced by geography.
