I'm a sucker for beats. A good beat can draw me into a song even if the lyrics are suspect, and I'm far too forgiving when some instrument or arrangement catches my ear in an interesting way. Fortunately "Blue & Black" by the BlackCrows (the Dres Cas and Flamingosis duo) has the sound and the lyrics covered. Producer Flamingosis has crafted a low-key, piano and horn track with a great vocal sample, making it impossible for Dres Cas to do anything but tell a great story.
