Birthday, a (seemingly) new artist from Oakland, is one such individual, and his first batch of material that was uploaded recently to his SoundCloud shows that he's about to catch some serious buzz. Easy comparisons here could be made to St. Lucia, Seoul, Beatenberg, Troye Sivan, and many others, but there's more than that. The underlying fact here is that birthday is going to resonate with a lot of different lovers of pop, and, in our opinion, it's really only a matter of time until he blows up.
