"Master Plan" is what happens when funk-infused electronic and hip-hop merge perfectly. Melbourne DJ, turntablist, and producer Billy Hoyle opens up the track with an effervescent synth-line that really gets this track going, and when the Brooklyn-based raps of Cazeaux O.S.L.O. kick in, a nostalgia-effect enters in and really makes the effort one to remember. We haven't been coming across many throwback-sounding hip-hop tracks like this one recently, so to hear this sound done so well here is really quite refreshing. Catch the free download below.
