Today, her flawless streak continues with the help of the aforementioned UK-based producer in "This Simple Pleasure", and it's an effort you're definitely going to want to check out. Fresh-sounding percussion introduces the piece, while a set of chopped, wavy, oscillating synths and Billie Black's sensual vocals march in alongside. Once the chorus hits, a vibe-emanating house sound sets in with a pumping beat and some deep synths, and what's prepared is an ideal base for the songstress to croon atop with her effortless style. Mura Masa actually uses instrumentation somewhat sparingly throughout the track—keeping the total quantity of instruments occurring at one time to a minimum—but the sounds that he does employ are masterfully handled, amounting to a totally distinct sound. When we first saw that Billie Black and Mura Masa collaborated, we couldn't have been more thrilled—not only because we love seeing two rising artists of this caliber working together, but also because we knew the resulting sound would be one with potential to be incredible.
