There's no denying a great voice, but in a sea full of great vocalists, it is tough to stand out. Some turn to image and personality to do the trick, while others choose to go another, more artistic route, and what we're seeing from the London-based newcomer, Billie Black, is a solid foundation of vocals on top of production that's making her solid debut shine for us. Although "I Waited For You" is the very first track that's being released from Billie, it's tough for us to forecast what her sound is going to entail going forward, but with the downtempo, electronic, and soul-pop bolstering "I Waited For You", it's safe to say she's our undivided attention here on out.
