Kakou The most stunningly beautiful debut song from July came from Kakou, a UK-based duo just barely out of their teenage years. After premiering on Pharrell and Scott Vener's OTHERtone, the group's first track, "Live in This Moment", has already received a great deal of attention and acclaim, and if they can keep up this standard of work, they'll be sure to amass quite a large following in no time at all. Zaia Nestled deep within the pages of SoundCloud is an artist we just came across this week by the name Zaia, and it took us only a couple tracks to discover the sheer potential he has. Two cuts in particular, "Running" and "Pilot", have had us hitting the replay button and given us more reasons than one to believe he's got a potentially illustrious career ahead. nilas Despite being a totally new name to us, Danish producer nilas provided us with one of the freshest sounds in electronic this past month. He displayed it in both original tracks and remixes, and, as it seems his work ethic is one that's pretty high, you'll want to make sure you check often what new releases he has on his SoundCloud page.
