Within the endless current of new music, it’s difficult for anyone to keep up with all that’s coming out. To combat this ongoing influx of sound, we publish our “Best New Artists of the Month” articles in the hopes that you never miss out on the outstanding new artists emerging in recent times. WILDE [track id="00948862" artist="WILDE" title="Hanging Tree (Are You?)"] WILDE, a Toronto-based three-piece pop act, is the latest to sign to Last Gang Records (Chromeo, Purity Ring, Ryan Hemsworth), and based on their debut track "Hanging Tree (Are You?)", a cover of Jennifer Lawrence's “The Hanging Tree“, we're expecting big things from them in 2015 when they prepare to release their debut EP. GANGLY [track id="00948764" artist="GANGLY" title="Fuck With Someone Else"] "Fuck With Someone Else" is all we need to get excited about this mysterious trio from Iceland. The track has still flown under the radar despite its pretty stark aural appeal (it's only amassed 14K plays on SoundCloud thus far), but that isn't stopping us from tipping the act to make a big splash in 2015, so pay attention to them. SAINT CAVA [track id="00948840" artist="SAINT CAVA" title="Forget"] Danish brother-sister duo SAINT CAVA released their debut track, "Forget", back in August of this year, but only now has it become properly recognized. Their sound is dark, innovative, and engaging, and we can't wait to hear what complimentary pieces they decided to share with the world next. Camel Power Club [track id="00948810" artist="Camel Power Club" title="Laïka"] In the month of December, there wasn't a more positively uplifting song than "Laïka", the latest effort from French pop duo Camel Power Club. Their sound is a highly infectious one, and it's very easy to enjoy, so we suspect that if they keep this up, they could become a sleeper hit in the coming year. ANIMA! [track id="00948713" artist="ANIMA!" title="It's All Around"][track id="00948712" artist="ANIMA!" title="Breathe "] ANIMA! is a collaboration between a Californian and South African, and the unique sound they put together makes quite a bit of sense given the different geographical influences they bring to the table. Currently in the studio recording new music to follow up their debut three-track EP (and trust us, the new material is sounding very good), there's much to anticipate from the two going forward, so keep it locked on their name and the works they expel. DAUNT [track id="00948772" artist="DAUNT" title="This Body Rushes"] "This Body Rushes" is the perfect example of starting off on the right foot. We've zero information on DAUNT, but at this point it doesn't matter, because there's no question he's heading for bigger things in 2015. The appeal factor of his debut track is obvious, and we suspect his eventual follow-up track will be equally great.
