Within the endless current of new music, it’s difficult for anyone to keep up with all that’s coming out. To combat this ongoing influx of sound, we publish our “Best New Artists of the Month” articles in the hopes that you never miss out on the outstanding new artists emerging in recent times. SACHI SACHI has been releasing music officially for over a year now, so technically they're not brand-new, but, lately, they've been gaining significant steam leading up the release of their upcoming debut EP, Lunch With Bianca. With their incredible remix of KLOE's "Teenage Craze", and, more recently, with the latest track they shared, "Hold On", these guys are showing a lot of upside, and we can't wait to hear what that all means for the new EP. Darnell Williams There's a lot to be excited about in rap right now, and newcomer Darnell Williams is one more reason why the genre is going strong. His debut track, "South Central",—though a short one—is one of the best this year, and, as far as setting up the rest of his career goes (we know it's young), we think he's put himself in a pretty bright spot. Jadu Heart Jadu heart may not be making the most noise in music right now, hype-wise, but their new body of work, Wanderflower, that's currently signed to Mura Masa's label, Anchor Point, was one of the most promising projects from any new act to emerge this past month. There's currently no news of what's to come from the pair, but if they're able to continue to create gorgeous tracks like "The Love" from that body of work, we think they'll be ripe for success. BRLLNT South Korea isn't home to too many acts that have broken worldwide in electronic, but BRLLNT, an incredible new producer from the country, has one of the freshest sounds we've heard in quite some time. If you haven't heard his music yet, all you need to do is check out one of his most recent tracks, "Blush", and you'll understand completely our praise. Nakita With only one track to her name, we're taking a risk giving this New Zealand pop newcomer our co-sign, but when you consider the kind of debut that she has with "Where Are You?", stating high expectations is a reasonable thing. It's a vivacious and well-put-together tune that showcases her sweet tone and sensibilities for pop, and it should serve as a good precursor to what material she has next to give.
