When the refreshingly experimental sound of "Trust Me" entered our focus last week, we knew we had come across something particularly special. The single constituted a breakthrough effort of sorts for the producer whose catalog of sound had before piqued our interest, and it excited us for what forthcoming EP was set to follow. With Eventide, the Futures Collective member traverses through additional unfamiliar sonic landscapes, drawing from myriad genres to design a sound entirely his own. There are inclusions of downtempo, trap, electronic, and chillwave littering the efforts on the EP, and each of the elements work spectacularly alongside the others to provide for an arrestingly dynamic vibe captured throughout the five tracks.
