FlicFlac is on the come up, no doubt, and as long as they continue to drop songs with the same caliber of their recent releases, the Austrian duo should definitely be on their way to the forefront of production circles. This time around, FlicFlac teamed up with a fellow European, Bearson, a producer that just recently made his HD debut with an excellent remix of SOHN's "Lessons". We surely didn't anticipate this collaboration, but we're absolutely ecstatic that it happened nevertheless, because the offspring of their meeting is a sun-soaked remix of Benjamin Francis Leftwich's "Pictures". At this point of the year, some of us need to be encouraged by the arrival of, rather than discouraged by the distance of, the foreign place called "summer". With FlicFlac & Bearson's remix, we're able to be invited to a place reminiscent of the season (unless you're fortunate enough to currently be in one). Forget your flannels and jackets and boots and jeans; your destination is filled with warm synths, refreshing electronic sounds, and energetic percussion; and one listen below to the refreshing vibes of FlicFlac and Bearson, a team that we hope to see more work from in the future, and you'll be as relaxed as you ought to be given the elements some of us have been facing recently.
