Tropical house is the best kind. Anytime you see that genre label or something similar, you should be excited. It's usually a little softer and therefore more listenable in regular, everyday scenarios than deep or progressive house. Also, steel drums and flute pipes always sound so awesome. Thomas Jack's remix of Benjamin Francis Leftwich's "Atlash Hands" is testament to that. With the addition of a relatively slow house beat and some wind pipes, he has built a beautiful downtempo house tune from what was originally a more traditional sounding folk-style song.
